Everlasting Wet Palette Questions and Answers:
Q : “I do like how the lip looks shorter. And the paper actually laying flat almost makes it worth it by itself. Ill be curious to know once you’ve ran it for a few days if you think it was worth it” – Alax Henderson
A : The short lip is fantastic. And the smooth, flat paper makes a big difference to me. Apart from that it’s just a normal wet palette
Q : “I’d be interested in knowing what baking paper you normally use. It seems nigh on impossible to find some which isn’t silicon coated to some extent.” – Matthew Hanlon
A : I use non-stick greaseproof and baking paper from the Co-Op.
Q : “Nice video, thank you! The most important question, what does the colour look like on the pallet after a few hours or over night? Does it retain its consistency or does it become thicker/thinner? I don’t like the lid coming off so hard. If you have very thin paint on the pallet, it can run through a jerk when opening.” – E. Off
A : It depends a little on how much water you’ve left in the tray. I’ve found it becomes thinner. I’ve got a technique to open the lid without issues now, although mine does still seal tightly.
Q : “I ordered the standard sized wet pallet, I’ve never used one before. Just curious why it’s an issue that the foam is slightly smaller than the box? Apart from a smaller surface area.” – John Mackroy
A : As you said, it means the palette is obviously smaller, but also it means it will move around inside while moving it and also allow the water to evaporate more quickly.
