Loonboss on Giant Cave Squig!

I’ve really enjoyed working on this model – it’s been a really fun experience playing with colour and texture, both on the Squig and the goblin armour!

In the shadowy depths of their subterranean lairs, amidst the eerie glow of countless “magic” mushrooms, the Grots of the Moonclan carve out their existence. It’s a life led beneath the surface, one that has imbued them with a unique blend of madness and cunning, shaped by the peculiar diet they share with the grotesque Squigs they herd. These creatures, both the herders and the herded, are bound by their reliance on the strange fungi that proliferate in the dank, dark corners of their world. The Grots, with their slight statures and frenzied minds, find strength in numbers, swarming their enemies in a tide of green-skinned insanity.

The miniature I painted captures the essence of these peculiar beings—their madness, their cunning, and their sheer overwhelming presence. This model, previously an exclusive part of the Looncurse Battlebox, is now available individually, offering a unique opportunity to bring one of the Moonclan’s most iconic figures to life yourself – why not grab one and follow along with my tutorials?
