Dark Angels Master Lazarus

Who is Lazarus?
Lazarus is the current Master of the Dark Angels Chapter’s 5th Company and is renowned as an expert strategist and tactician. His deep-seated hatred for Chaos stems from his experiences during the Siege of the Fenris System, where he defended The Rock against daemonic assaults. This formative experience left a lasting impact on him, shaping his fierce determination to combat the forces of Chaos.
Lazarus rose to command the 5th Company after his predecessor, Company Master Balthasar, was slain amidst the chaotic battles following the creation of the Great Rift. His leadership proved crucial during the War Zone Stygius, where he prevented a total rout of Imperial forces on the Ice World of Rimenok. However, during this conflict, Lazarus was grievously wounded by Thousand Sons sorcery. The severity of his injuries left the Dark Angels’ Apothecaries with no choice but to perform the Rubicon Primaris surgery. The operation was a success, and Lazarus emerged as a fully healed Primaris Space Marine, the first to join the Dark Angels Inner Circle.
Now, Lazarus leads his Company with renewed vigor and an even stronger resolve to punish the servants of Tzeentch. He played a key role in the Assault on Sortiarius, leading the 5th Company alongside a Grey Knights strike force to thwart Magnus the Red’s ritual. During the Arks of Omen Campaign, Lazarus helped defend the inner sanctum of The Rock, fighting alongside Azrael himself.
Lazarus is equipped with notable wargear, including the Spiritshield Helm and the Power Sword Enmity’s Edge, which further enhances his formidable presence on the battlefield. His leadership and combat prowess continue to be a cornerstone of the Dark Angels’ relentless crusade against Chaos.
