Taking a quick break from more serious painting to have some fun with my first ever Orruk! This guy is Morgok from Morgok’s Krushas, an Underworld warband.
I’ve gone for a slightly different colour of skin to regular orruks. This was achieved using Vallejo Heavy Black Green, Bugman’s Glow, Cadian Fleshtone, Screaming Skull!
Morgok’s Orruk Krushas are a formidable Ironjawz warband from the Ironsunz sub-faction, known for their relentless pursuit of glory in the wilds of Ghur and the treacherous caverns of Beastgrave. Led by the brute boss Morgok and flanked by his loyal followers ‘Ardskull and Thugg, this trio of brutes embarks on a ruthless quest to hunt the largest and most formidable prey. Their journey in Beastgrave is a relentless pursuit of proving themselves as the supreme warriors, driven by a desire to win recognition in the eyes of their deity, Gorkamorka. Their path is marked by fierce battles, encounters with formidable beasts like the Jabberslythe, and a constant struggle against the cunning traps of their enemies. Despite facing death, the warband’s resolve is only strengthened by the Katophrane Curse, binding them to the Beastgrave and fueling their unyielding spirit of conquest and battle.

Morgok and his mob of Ironjawz brutes once hunted down and fought the greatest prey they could find amongst Ghur’s trackless wastes. Whether they ran down spiny nephrodiles or fought the storm-warriors of Sigmar, Morgok’s Orruk Krushas sought the mightiest trophies in the name of their bellicose deity, Gorkamorka.
